The answer to this question depends on a number of factors such as purpose (recreation/business), location (restricted airspace within a certain proximity to an airport) etc. Please refer to your local aviation authorities for the aircraft registration requirements, airspace rules and permissions needed.

Most drones are designed to fly up-to 30 minutes on one battery charge. Most drone survey/inspection use cases typically don’t exceed this time and are typically a combination of multiple drone flights. For longer operations, we recommend carrying additional batteries that can be swapped out between flights.
